Studio Policies
Consent Forms
All consent forms must be filled out properly prior to any service at our studio, no exceptions.
If you refuse to fill out a consent form we have the right to refuse service and this will lead to a deposit loss from the client as collateral .
Consent forms are in place to protect the artist and the studio and required by California Law and San Bernardino County .
Minors
Deposit & Appointment
Appointments MUST be cancelled 48 hours in advance no exceptions.
1 Transfer of a deposit to a secondary date is acceptable as long as the appointment was cancelled 48 hours in advance . All other cancellations will be resulted in a loss of deposit. After the first cancellation and deposit transfer any further cancellations will result in a deposit loss and a secondary deposit will be required to reschedule any further appointments .
ALL deposits are NON REFUNDABLE & NON TRANSFERABLE to other services .
A deposit fee can vary based on service .
Piercing Deposits are $25-$75 based on the service .
Tattoo Deposits are $75-$400 based on the tattoo .
All weekend deposits (Saturday & Sunday) are NON TRANSFERABLE & NON REFUNDABLE.
The 48 hour policy does not apply to any weekend appointments scheduled.
Deposits are acceptable in Cash , Zelle or Apple Pay.
If you did NOT leave a deposit your appointment slot is not secured.
All appointments require a deposit to be valid and secured by all artist including our independent artist .
Illness Related Cancellations are treated the same as a last minute cancellation and will not be used as an excuse for same day cancellations. ANY cancellation that is not made 48 hour prior to the appointment time and date is considered a last minute and or same day cancellation which results in a deposit loss.
Late Period
Every Client has a 15 minute grace period for all services ,however your appointment will still end at the same scheduled time . Please arrive onetime to get the most out of your service .
If you are significantly late your appointment maybe canceled and result in a deposit loss. Communicate with your artist, in most cases your tattoo artist still may be able to proceed with the service but the service will end at the same time scheduled . This may result in additional sessions needed to finish the piece. If this is the case an additional deposit will need to be taken to book further sessions.
Please don't be late .
Do not arrive to your appointment sick , you will not be seen and your deposit will be kept as collateral .
We understand that LIFE HAPPENS , communicate with your artist on how to move forward.
ART WORK FOR TATTOOS
Artwork changes can result in a deposit loss based on the artwork change .
Here's why .
All Appointments scheduled are made with a time frame based on 3 things :
1.Placement
2.Size
3. The description of the artwork initially provided and any artwork references that may have been sent to the artist by the client at the time of scheduling the appointment.
These were the factors determined by the artist that made the appointment acceptable for the time slot scheduled.
.Any major changes or complete artwork changes can result in a deposit loss as they may not have the time to accomplish the piece , the tattoo may be outside of their scope of expertise and they can not accomplish it . If the new changes are outside of your artist expertise you can NOT transfer the deposit to another artist at our studio for this appointment . You will need to leave another deposit and schedule a later date they may have available . Always research what you want prior to booking an appointment to avoid these situations .
Majority of small changes can be accomplished based on the changes , always contact your artist regarding these changes .
All changes must be made 1 week prior to your appointment . Any large changes and or complete artwork changes will result in a deposit loss or multiple session needing to be scheduled .
All minors under 18 years of age may not receive tattoo or permanent make up services even if they have " Parental Consent" . This is subject to the California Penal Code 653.
Our Policy is very strict to ensure that our artist will not have their time wasted .
If you are considering getting a tattoo or piercing and intend to make an appointment please intend to keep it and be on time.
We take our craft very serious and only want to ensure the best possible experience . If you are not 100% sure you can make a date and time for an appointment please wait until you canfully commit to it .
Communication is key. Communicate with your preferred Artist and go from there .
If you schedule an appointment be committed to the date and time so your deposit is not wasted and neither is the Artist time , it is very much appreciated.
Little Shop Of Ink has a NO REFUND policy . This is subject to all fees for services, and products sold at the Little Shop of Ink studio.
